Lloyd Troon Law are very excited in having Kathryn Buchanan, Barrister, join our team in a Consulting capacity.
Kathryn has moved back to the south from Auckland and brings a wealth of knowledge and previous experience specialising in Family Law, in particular Care of Children Act work, and has been instrumental in mentoring our team during what was an extremely tumultuous 2021.
More recently Kathryn has been working more in the area of Aged Care and the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act. She has a focus on encouraging people to prepare Enduring Powers of Attorney to spare family distress and possible Court Proceedings when a relative, partner or friend loses capacity.
Coming from a very busy full-time practice it is a welcome change to having reduced hours and a chance to give back to others coming through in the profession.
